Meet The CEO

With hemp/cannabis begins like so many others in our industry. I was previously employed as a coordinator at a non-profit agency working with adolescents with cognitive, behavioral and psychological issues. In 2013, my life was drastically altered by a work related injury. I suffered from complications due to my injuries and developed a rare pain disorder called reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). I was prescribed several opioids, but the pharmaceuticals failed to relieve my pain, and they also made me extremely sick. This was a turning point in my life, and I decided to take my health into my own hands and seek alternative treatments.

 

After visiting my brother in Denver,  in 2015, I tried recreational cannabis and was amazed by its impact on my condition. I came home and immediately applied for my medical cannabis card in Massachusetts, and I started my journey to healing myself with this miraculous plant. I went from being unable to walk more than a few steps a day to making almost a full recovery, which was extraordinary considering the doctor's diagnosis that I may never walk again properly or be able to work. When question 4 passed in Massachusetts in 2016, I wanted to get involved in the cannabis industry. I wanted to make it my life’s goal to help others with this plant as it restored my health.

 

In 2017, there were limited job opportunities in New England, so I made the difficult decision to move to Oregon and immerse myself in the cannabis and hemp industry. I started as a trimmer at a medical facility and learned many aspects of the industry (i.e., growing, processing, legislation and business development). I worked with a number of medical and commercial growers in Oregon. I would travel every few weeks from Massachusetts to Oregon, and in June of 2018 decided to bring my wealth of knowledge back east as the travel became very taxing for my body.

 

Since returning to my home state of Massachusetts, I established my own company, Holistic Hemp Solutions INC. I consult in several areas within the cannabis and holistic health industries. I also served as an executive consultant for a few cannabis and hemp organizations assisting with company development. I formulated high-quality rare cannabinoid formulations and natural extraction methods that are now Patent Pending in the U.S. and international markets. My Patent Pending products assist with various medical conditions, including seizure disorders, pain/inflammation reduction, and aiding with COVID symptoms, to name a few. We have a number of pediatric and adult medical patients taking our oil to naturally control seizures and various other medical conditions without harmful side effects. I have been featured on several national and international podcasts to share both my personal and industry experience with the world. In addition, I have testified in several states regarding gaining safe access to cannabis/hemp. Recently, I was honored to present at the 2022 Harvest Cup Conference alongside notable industry leaders regarding intellectual property protection.

 

I try to give back as much as possible to our local community. I dedicate my free-time working pro-bono with cancer patients needing supplements, support, and a holistic approach. I also help write and manage 13 Folds Magazine, a New England publication centered around cannabis and hosting educational and community events. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my husband, diabetic service dog, and the beautiful chosen family we’ve created.
